The following is a partial list of many organizations that have requested the special parenting book Dear Mommy Dear Daddy. We have included some statistics from some of the states, to show the great need for help. They have all expressed the problem, with "limited funds" and so any donation would be extremely appreciated. 1. There are over 17 abuse shelters in each state. Families in crisis need help NOW. Ten thousand or more family members are finding refuge from domestic violence. The Directors tell us they want to have the book available to these families while they are in the shelter for care, and then take the book home as a "training guide". 2. Over 200 hospitals in almost every state. New parents need this book as they learn the basics of the needs of a new baby and young children. Over 25,000 babies! This can be their "Owner's Manual". 3. Over 300 Public Health Clinics in each state. Social workers tell us that these low income families are desperate for the book. 4. Over 400 High Schools in each state. High school Parenting Classes need this book. These classes help the young pregnant teen "see" the reality of parenting. 5. United Way has many divisions of their agencies that focus on families (over 1,500 agencies!). Teen pregnancies, Family Crisis, Success By 6 (six years old), Substance Abuse Education, In-Home Training for parents (and their children) and more. 6. Head Start - education for young pre-school children. Geared toward low income families. 300-1,000 centers in most states! It has been determined that there is a need for over 150,000 Dear Mommy Dear Daddy books in most states (larger populations require more). This unique parenting book is simple to read (can be read in about an hour), easy to understand (written as if by the child), and the meaningful illustrations embrace each important concept of teaching and caring for young children.
